Petroleum & Industrial Services Ltd was established in June 1999 with an objective to bring an innovative solution to the growing problem of service station equipment maintenance and installation for Oil Companies.
P.I.S. has become the leader in Kenya in the supply, installation and maintenance of petroleum equipment as well as for employing new technologies (Submersible pumps, flexible piping, pos and automatic tank gauging system). Currently, a global maintenance contract covers major oil companies countrywide. The Company recently extended its expansive services to Uganda and Rwanda and intends to have these ISO 9001: 2000 certified as well. P.I.S. has a main base in Nairobi and branches in Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret and Mombasa . There are service centres in Karatina, Meru, Kericho, Naivasha, Nakuru, Lokichoggio, Kitale, Thika, Embu, Nyahururu, Nanyuki, Kitale, Voi and Kakamega.
P.I.S. prides itself in strengths such as communication infrastructure, which includes VHF systems, Internet lease lines, and cellular phones connecting branches, service centres and field technicians efficiently. By having an efficient software program, customers enjoy a strong recording and statistic system able to deliver quality data and leading to establish Key Performance Indicators, openly shared in order to improve reliability of the equipment and maximise on sales. The company has dedicated all its resources and staff to serve Oil Companies
